Fernhill Wet Lands

The loop we will take is gravel and level. Binoculars or cameras/long lenses would be beneficial for seeing birds and wildlife. Again, the in migrations have not started at this time but certain high value species like Bitterns overwinter.

Driving Directions
Address: 1399 SW Fern Hill Road, Forest Grove, OR 97116
From Highway 26 West, take exit 57, turn left onto NW Glencoe Road. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto NW Zion Church Road. Continue on NW Cornelius Schefflin Road for 1.6 miles. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto NW Verboort Road. At the next traffic circle, take the second exit onto NW Martin Road. In 1.9 miles, turn left onto Highway 47. Turn left onto SW Fern Hill Road and continue a quarter mile to the parking lot on the left.
From Forest Grove, take Highway 47 south. Turn left onto Fern Hill Road and continue a quarter mile to the parking lot on the left.
We will meet near the tables in the parking lot (near the rest rooms).
