Carson McCullers: "Sucker"

Thanks to Alena for providing this month's reading. I'd never read Carson McCullers before and enjoyed this quite a bit. There's a palpable dread between the words, imbuing the familiar coming-of-age story with something far more sinister. I'm uncomfortable!
