Peak's Island BIke ride/walk ( Sat.May 4,rain date May 5-¡cinco de mayo!)

Need an island get away? Join us on this nice little get away to walk or bike ride Peak's Island before tourist season is in full swing. This is always a fun, popular event. Bring your own bike or rent one on the island.
We will take the ferry at 10:15 from the ferry terminal on Commercial St. in Portland.

There is a ( expensive ) parking garage, or park at the Eastern Prom( free) and walk to the terminal. The 20 minute ferry back is approx. every hour.
Bring a lunch to enjoy on the beach or join the group at one of the restaurants.
Keep an eye on this page for updates.
We will meet outside the building where the ferry launches.
Bring good walking shoes, layered clothing ( can be windy), water, snack, sunscreen and sunglasses.
