Rhythm Guitar is one of the most essential, and underrated, styles of playing.

Every great jam, band, session, or song has a solid rhythm section at the core. So be part of it!

Acoustic guitars are much easier to work with in this workshop. We have a few to loan. If you wish to play electric, we'll work it out as best we can, but recognize that we need to keep the volume down.

We'll discuss how to treat your guitar like a drum while playing guitar, how to zone your guitar and style of strum into differentiating sections, and how to play more appropriate rhythmic backings to songs.

A solid rhythm guitarist can capture the essence of the whole song, and make the rest of the band's job just *that* much easier!

So come out and we'll play rhythm guitar (or ukulele, or mandolin, etc.) together!
