Re: [musicians-349] Spam, Bruce, and patience

Tip: if you don't already do it: scan every day. Preferably with two different products that don't screw either up. AND scan everything before opening ( I don't do this with simple one-on-one emails - unless they contain a link or an attachment). At the moment I am using SuperAntiSpyware with IObit, both free. The former is based in England & run by countless volunteers. The free version does not have automatic updates, but they update very frequently - at least once a day, and it's simple to do.
Happy surfing y'all, Terry.

This happens occasionally, that a piece of malware or virus will hijack a system and use the account settings to send spam over the 'net in their name.    With this many group members, it is bound to happen a few times a year.

I was hoping that Bruce would respond, but unfortunately he doesn't seem to be the sort to obsessively monitor their e-mail.  Like, say, myself!

The account associated with this particular Bruce has had its e-mail list privileges suspended until such time as it is sorted out.

Thank you for your patience.   There should be no need to bother this list with future communication on this matter.   Should somebody feel the need to further discuss this, e-mail me directly at

and I shall do what I can to meet your requirements.
