DESCRIPTION: Let's meet in West Linn for a varied loop walk resplendent with ups and downs on neighborhood streets; paved and unpaved trails; a boat dock; past the confluence of the Tualatin and Willamette Rivers; and a secret staircase. Overall elevation gain = 180'. The parks we'll pass include Willamette, Switfshore, and Fields Bridge. SHOUTOUT to Lucy for designing this route! There is a restroom facility at the Willamette Garage.
DISTANCE: 4.5+ miles
PARKING: Along Willamette Falls Drive, West Linn
MEET AT: Willamette Garage; 1590 Willamette Falls Drive, West Linn. Congregate on the sidewalk in front of the food carts.
LAUNCH TIME: 10:00 AM.
FITNESS LEVEL: Expect a moderate pace, on varied terrain including a few steep ups and downs, neighborhood residential streets, paved and unpaved trails and one staircase. (the entire walk is expected to take about 1.75 hours)
