DESCRIPTION: Let's meet and loop some of the pastorally peaceful trails of Parrett Mountain, in Newberg. Hope you can join Deborah, Lucy and me for this bucolic walk.
DISTANCE: About five miles.
PARKING AND MEET AT: 10500 NE Parrett Mountain Road, Newberg OR 97132. Driving Directions:
- Turn onto NE Haugen Road: From 99W, head south onto NE Haugen Road. This is a fairly steep and winding road.
- Continue for ~2 miles: Follow Haugen Road for about two miles until you reach a T-intersection with a stop sign.
- Turn Right: Turn right onto NE Parrett Mountain Road.
- Arrive at the Farm: The entrance is located at 10500 NE Parrett Mountain Road, Identified by a yellow house and a Parrett Mountain Farm sign as depicted. Gravel parking lot adjacent to yellow house.
