FYI - I've cross-posted this in another group as well.

Let's enjoy this magnificent weather and see if we can catch some Spring wildflowers as well as great views of the peaks if it's clear. We'll be hiking it as a big loop on the Wildhorse, Orchard Loop, Cedar Grove, Elderberry, and Old Holgate Loop for a total of 4.10 miles (with an elevation gain of 531 feet). Not sure how muddy it's going to be so wear shoes that can handle that. Hiking pace 2.5 mph.

Let's meet in front of the main building at the parking lot at 11 am. There are bathrooms there.

Afterward if people would like to grab lunch we can head to either Migration Brewing or Von Ebert Brewing (both are about 15 minutes from the park).

Info: Hi, I'm looking to expand and explore a variety of hiking trails around the greater Portland area and looking for others that want to join me! Many of these I've done but I also want to try new ones so those will be an experiment. I use AllTrails to make sure we've got a downloaded map ahead of time. My hiking style is typically around 2.5 mph depending on if I'm stopping to take pictures or soak up a view for a minute. I also adjust based on the particular group that's hiking that event. I enjoy being physical and moving outdoors but I'm not necessarily trying to rush through this at breakneck speed. We won't leave anyone behind and will stop periodically to let the back of the group catch up if needed.

I don't view signing up for this hike as a job for you and realize this is fun (and life happens) but if you can't make it please change your RSVP in case there are others that are hoping to join in. If all this sounds fun to you and your style please sign up!

*I'm just a regular person that enjoys doing stuff with others outdoors and volunteering my time to plan/post/host activities in this group. Please realize I'm not responsible or liable for injuries, accidents (bad stuff) that you may experience on any of my events when you decide to participate. Plan for your own needs and take into account any risks you may face when you decide to sign up for something I post.
