The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of Portland is part of an international network of over 600 lay Diamond Way Buddhist meditation centers of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Hannah and Lama Ole Nydahl according to the wishes of H.H. the 16th Karmapa. They are now under the spiritual guidance of H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje.
Diamond Way Buddhism offers practical and effective methods to realize mind’s inherent richness for the benefit of all. With an accessible and modern style, it works with people’s confidence and desire, using every situation in life to develop fearlessness and joy. Our centers are run on the basis of idealism and friendship by members who incorporate the teachings and meditations into their work and family lives.

Teachings on "Karma" with Dilia Navarro
Location not specified yetJoin us for a night of teachings with travel teacher Dilia Navarro. The topic of the talk is "Karma." After the talk we will do a guided meditation and spend some time answering questions and socializing. Please note that the rsvp list on meet up does not reflect the actual number in attendance.
About the speaker:
Dilia Navarro is a lay Diamond Way Buddhist teacher from Caracas, Venezuela, where she worked as an electronics engineer. She first came into contact with Buddhism in 1993 and met Lama Ole Nydahl, and his wife Hannah, in 1994. In 1997, along with her brother and sister-in- law, she took responsibility of the Diamond Way Center in Caracas, and since then she has organized courses and helped form all the centers and meditation groups in Venezuela. Since year 1998 she started translating for Lama Ole during his courses in Venezuela, and since then she also started to help with the translations of the meditation booklets. In 2003, Lama Ole asked Navarro to travel and give teachings, and she has been travelling and teaching throughout North, Central and South America and Europe since.
