Friday daytime hangout

To meet the growing interest, we’re expanding the Portland FIRE Meetup schedule with more Friday daytime hangouts. We'll try scheduling these events roughly every two weeks and see how it goes. Feel free to attend as often as you wish! If you would be interested in hosting a similar event in a different part of town or Vancouver (or a different day/time), please reach out to an organizer and we can help you get that started.

Whether you’re already retired or just have a flexible schedule, come join us for socializing and enjoyment of the FI life. There are food carts, coffee, and a bar on-site. We’ll be indoors with a Meetup sign so you can find us. We usually find a group of tables near the windows, but look around for us in case that area isn't available.

This event will be unstructured socializing amongst FIRE-minded people. We will rotate seats about half-way through so that we can mix it up a bit and have a greater chance of meeting more people. There won't be formal meeting facilitation or a limitation to FIRE-y topics, though feel free to bring your questions! It's ok to drop in/leave anytime during the scheduled window.
