*Note the unusual day. We moved off our usual first-Monday-of-the-month because of Labor Day and Dick's community room availability.

Join us in September for a book discussion of Happy Money: The Japanese Art of Making Peace with Your Money, by Ken Honda. I’m posting this event to the calendar early to give people time to get it from the library. You can still come if you don’t read the book. And there’s no need to bring a copy with you to the discussion.

Happy Money is 240 pages (5 hours on audio) with a roughly 4 star Goodreads rating. Based on my cursory scan of the reviews, it seems like people either love it or hate it. Those kinds of books can make for an interesting discussion! The ChooseFI Podcast also picked it for a podcast they’ll be recording in July--might be an interesting listen before or after our discussion.
