Hello Friends! We are teaming up with the Portland 3D Printing Lab for a half party / half meetup at CENTRL (http://centrloffice.com/) . Come join us! Wednesday April 26 6-9PM.
Let’s celebrate design week with a design slam. Bring your finest creation talent and spirit. We’ve got catering, delicious beverages, cool tunes, and a great venue in the Pearl for a great event.
On the Fusion side of things, we’ve been geeking out about Autodesk PCB Design Software Eagle and its ability to design custom printed circuit boards. We have cut several on our CNCs and we put together a “Hello World” flashing light kit and it works!

Clearly, it needs a 3D printed enclosure. But for what purpose does this light exist? Well… it’s design week so let’s build something awesome and give it one!
Challenge rules:
Download this light kit and develop something creative, useful, or novel around it in Fusion. Either 3D print what you create ahead of time, or design it during the meetup. Several of us be riffing on design ideas too throughout the night. Let’s have fun.
Prizes of street cred glory and social media historical significance await our winners! (Plus there’s a $100 gift card in there too for 1st place)
