Portland Gay Men's Book Club

Welcome to the Portland Gay Men's Book Club! We are a group of gay men who love books and great conversation. This is a safe and inclusive space to connect, share perspectives, and build community through a shared love of reading. We're happy to have you with us!

This additional information may help ease your concerns and encourage you to participate:

• You are invited to join our meetings regardless of whether you have read the book for the current month.
• NO PRESSURE. No one will put you on the spot - you can choose to be as talkative or as reserved as you prefer.
• Most of our book selections feature a gay theme or connection, but this is not always the case.
• Everyone is encouraged to propose book suggestions for future meetings.
• We welcome individuals of all ages!
• We gather once a month on Saturday afternoons in the community meeting rooms of the Multnomah County (Multco) Library, conveniently located near central Portland and public transportation.
• In addition to our regular meetings, we also meet informally for movies, shows, breakfasts, and other activities.
