Join for a deep breathwork journey designed to soften the "armor" around the heart and help reconnect you with your center. Guided in a trauma-informed, somatically anchored container, this session will support emotional integration, nervous system regulation, and reconnection with the body’s innate ability to heal.
Holosomatic Breathwork is a form of therapeutic breathwork that integrates breathing techniques with body awareness and emotional processing. The term holosomatic (meaning "whole body") refers to a holistic approach that connects the body, mind, and spirit. It combines breath with somatic practices, which involve sensing and releasing physical tension, and aims to promote deep healing, self-awareness, and emotional release.
In Holosomatic Breathwork, the breath is used as a tool to access unconscious emotional material and physical sensations stored in the body. Through controlled breathing patterns, participants are able to activate the body's innate healing processes, helping to release suppressed emotions, trauma, and tension. This can lead to profound shifts in mental and emotional states, as well as increased clarity and vitality.
Key elements of Holosomatic Breathwork include:
- Conscious Breathing: Using specific, intentional breathing techniques to alter the state of consciousness, which helps bring awareness to emotional and bodily sensations.
- Somatic Awareness: Paying close attention to bodily sensations, allowing individuals to connect with physical tension, discomfort, or emotion that may have been suppressed or ignored.
- Emotional Release: Using breath to facilitate the release of blocked emotions, which can lead to cathartic experiences or a sense of emotional cleansing.
- Integration: Focusing on integrating the insights or changes that arise during the breathwork process into everyday life, helping the individual move forward with a greater sense of balance and well-being.
