Join about 20 to 30 of us for silent meditation, a short talk, and a community discussion. You're welcome to join for as little or as long as you like, and have your video on or off. Message me for the Zoom password (link below).
The opening talk is typically from the Insight Meditation / Vipassana / Theravāda Buddhist tradition, though as the meditation is in silence, you are welcome to practice whatever method you like. You do not need to be Buddhist.

8:00 – 8:15am — a short dharma talk / reflection
8:15 – 8:45am — silent meditation
8:45 – 9:00am — community discussion
Morning Flow (Sat/Sun)
8:00 – 8:55am — silent meditation
8:55 – 9:00am — “lightning round,” sharing intentions for the day or one-sentence reflections

About the Facilitator:
A former Theravādin Buddhist monk, David Sudar has completed over 3 years of intensive meditation retreats, including a 21-month Vipassana retreat in Myanmar with his core teacher, Sayadaw U Tejaniya. He has also been studying since 2018 with Vipassana teacher, Carol Wilson.
He currently works as a Buddhist & meditation teacher, both locally in Portland, Oregon, and virtually through Zoom classes, writings, and 1-on-1 meetings. His primary emphasis is how to integrate the Buddha's deep wisdom & liberation teachings into our everyday lives.
