About us
Welcome to the Portland Joint Committee! We’re a Portland-based group of socially conscious folks who generally enjoy cannabis and get together to do fun things. Events tend to focus on some combination of science, art, equity, nature, music, helping others, community and culture.
We plan to meet once or twice a month. Our festivities usually start with introductions and an optional group smoke, and then we’ll have/attend an event together. We hope you’ll join us, and we hope to see you often!
Our philosophy is anti-racist, anti-capitalist, pro-science, pro-equity for all, pro-LGBTQ+, multi-cultural, and cannabis friendly.

NOTE: The group has been loaned a large pan pride flag 🩷💛💙 to use. We’ll bring it to outdoor events to help us find each other. We may periodically try to send up “smoke signals” as a group as well! 💨 haha

Smoke ‘Em if You Got ‘Em: Jamaican Dinner and Vibes
Jamaica House, 8307 N Ivanhoe St., Portland, OR, USLet’s hang out! We’re heading over to Jamaica House for an evening of decadent food, amazing music, and impeccable company.
We’ll plan to hang out and eat on the patio. Let’s meet there at 5:30pm. We’ll say hi, hang out, order our food, and enjoy our meals and time together. Check out the menu ahead of time, if you’d like, at: https://www.jamaicahouseor.com
Street parking. We each pay for our own food and drinks, average $10-$20. Expect a relaxed pace and a good time. Bring a guest, if you’d like. Simba (the owner) says feel free to bring extra cannabis. 😂 lol Cannabis friendly.
