Homegrown: Soul Music at the Rose Garden
Details
Let's gather for this Washington Park Summer Festival event, An Evening of Original Soul Music featuring Ural Thomas and the Pain at the Washington Park-Rose Garden Amphitheater. It should be a lovely evening! The festival is free of charge. Cannabis friendly.
Parking will be limited/full. Arriving early, walking in, or taking the park shuttle are all great options. We'll plan to start by 5:00pm.
I’ll post our seating area in the amphitheater as an event message below here on the day-of. Please feel free to drop off your blanket with the group’s, and then come join us, as described next, for a hang out before the concert…
Just north of the Rose Garden Amphitheater (which is on the north side of the International Rose Test Garden), there's a grassy area where we'll meet before the show. WHERE TO GO: If you're facing the amphitheater from the top, turn left and go down the stairs. Our meeting spot is just across that little street, SW Rose Garden Way (also see map pin). If it's helpful, the coordinates are: 45.52049° N, 122.70546° W. ***Look for the large pan pride flag to find us too.***
We’ll plan to head over to our seats around 5:30 or so. I’ll have a rainbow blanket, and there will be others. See you by the roses!
