Dancing @ Bubba's (Pre-drinks at Bar Publica)

FIRST, meet us at Bar Publica at 8pm for a drink or two. We'll hang out and get to know each other. Then around 9-9:30pm we'll walk 5 minutes to Bubba's Sulky Lounge. Cover for Bubba's is $5 cash and it's cash only at the bar.

Bubba's is legendary for its tacky decor and light-up dance floors. Saturdays are their "everything" night (disco, pop, R&B, etc).

Safety! It's tempting to set your drink on a table while your dancing, but please keep it with you or finish it before leaving it somewhere. Please plan your transportation safely and responsibly. Portland is overall a very safe city, but I've gotten feedback that not everyone feels safe walking in this neighborhood alone. Just keep this in mind whether you decide to walk, drive, or take public transit.
