The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari @ Congress Square Park
Details
Bring a blanket, snack, and beverage and meet us at Congress Square Park to watch the silent movie . Description below. We'll meet there at 5:50pm to hang out for a little bit before the movie starts at 6pm. The movie runtime is 51 minutes. The park has some chairs, but I recommend bringing a lawn or beach chair if you want to be a little more comfortable. Also, dress extra warm! Folks always underestimate how chilly it gets just sitting outside in the fall. There are no public restrooms at the park.
Movie Description: At a carnival in Germany, Francis and his friend Alan encounter the crazed Dr. Caligari. The men see Caligari showing off his somnambulist, Cesare, a hypnotized man who the doctor claims can see into the future. Shockingly, Cesare then predicts Alan's death, and by morning his chilling prophecy has come true -- making Cesare the prime suspect.
