Solstice Forest Bathing @ Pineland Farms

Join us on the winter solstice for forest bathing at Pineland Farms. We'll meet at the Education Barn at 1:45pm. Tickets are $20/person - Get your ticket here! There are currently only 12 tickets left, so please purchase one when your rsvp.

Description: Celebrate the Winter Solstice at Pineland Farms as we honor and acknowledge the changing season around us and the return of the light. Join us for a festive Forest Bathing practice led by Hughes Kraft, a Certified Nature Forest Therapy Guide. Hughes shares his knowledge and love of the spectacular landscapes of Maine, while connecting to the individual wellness goals of his participants. Forest Bathing is a two-hour opportunity to slow down and connect with oneself while connecting with nature. It is not a destination hike or a naturalist walk. It is an invitation to explore the relationship between being human and the more-than-human world and connect with the health and wellness within oneself and quiet the nervous system.
Please dress warmly and bring a light source as the program will be held at dusk. Snowshoes will be available for participants, if needed. I recommend bringing a hot beverage, like tea in a thermos to help stay warm.

Directions to the Education Barn: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd. Follow Valley Farm Rd. until you see the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo) on the right-hand side. Take the right-hand turn immediately after the Smokehouse down to the Family Farmyard. The Education Barn is the largest barn on the farmyard.
