Qigong/Chi Kung serves as self-empowering preventive medicine. These gentle moving forms help to create a stronger flow of energy and move stagnation in the body. One of the world’s oldest and most complete systems of healing, Qigong cultivates our vital life force. As the basis for all the martial arts, it is quite possibly the most powerful form of ‘exercise’ on Earth. When we develop awareness of unconsciously held tension and learn to move in relaxation – or flow – life is more effortless, and we become more effective in the world.

Practicing slowly, over and over, the body unlearns inefficient tension of years and discovers a more natural, easy strength ~ thereby conserving and building energy for health and longevity. We become calmer and have more clarity. Complimentary to Western Medicine, we can lower our reliance on general healthcare, pharmacology, and surgery with this valuable option for a self care practice.

Our gatherings start with some gentle stretching, some simple moving forms, and a powerful chi-building Standing Meditation. All levels welcome ~ simply follow along as we move together in community.
