Portland music producers breakdown night (in-person)
Details
We're getting together again for another in-person breakdown session. Feedback has been quite positive, though we will probably experiment with the format every month. Presenters will go through a song they've finished or mostly finished and walk through how they put it together: both their process and their production techniques.
This month, we'll be featuring the inestimable Dominique. We'll also have another person present (TBD).
The format will be the presenter at the front of the room, with monitor speakers so everyone can hear. If the presenter wants, they can ask for feedback, but that's optional.
Participants and presenters come from all skill levels, come learn with other music makers and get to know others in the Portland music producer community! The event is at the North Portland Library near PCC Cascade. The room is upstairs to the left when you enter the library.
Afterwards, anyone that wants to can go for a drink, snacks, or dinner nearby.
The group communicates a lot on Discord, join us there: https://discord.com/events/1172411527870034000/1546316362949853214
