Portland Photowalk

Welcome to the Portland Photography Group! I created this group after moving back to Portland from Hawaii, because I love photography, and winters can be long and it's nice to have something to look forward to every week. This group is primarily for beginner photographers with SLR or mirrorless cameras who want to learn how to use their cameras better, and people who want to get some amazing pictures of this beautiful city. I have a lot of experience with Nikon, but have also used Canon and Sony. Over the years Ive taken several hundred thousand landscape, night sky and portrait images.
If you are a beginner, bring your SLR or mirrorless camera along we can figure it out together, and you will be taking better pictures by the end of the walk. For the first walk, charge your camera batteries, and let's begin at monument square in Portland in front of the library, and from there walk down free street and to exchange street. Portland has some great opportunities for street photography.
