PDX-R Lightning Talks!
Details
Come join us February 6 for lightning talks from the Portland Community.
What is a lightning talk? It's a 5-10 minute presentation that can be:
- Showing a cool tool or R package (whether you developed it or not)
- Sharing your experience of an R package
- Showing off your cool Shiny app or Dashboard
- Asking for help with a project
- Inviting others to chat about a topic you're passionate about
Most importantly, you do not need to be an expert to give a lightning talk. You should know that some of the best lightning talks we've ever seen are not by experts. Students are especially encouraged to give a lightning talk - we're a friendly bunch.
