Portland ReactJS Presentation night

Details
Hello all,
We are getting everything ready for our April meetup! We'll be moving to 4th Tuesdays of the month for a while. Thanks again to New Relic for providing their space!
Last meeting was great, big thanks to WIll Vaughn and Gareth Aye. If you missed their talks, here are the links: (Gareth (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VH4euIRwK6QJP_xk6pX79CTwB0BDiTLDrbItGpknvrY/) | Will (http://slides.com/willvaughn/tdd-react))
For the future, we still need more talk proposals! These meetings can't happen without your participation, in the audience but on stage as well. Please let us know what you've been working on with React, and if you would be willing to share it with us. Please submit your proposal here (https://goo.gl/forms/TCzP1g6urI)
We also invite you to join our Slack room for discussion and help around React amongst your community. Join here: Portland ReactJS Slack (https://portlandreactjs.herokuapp.com/)
Looking forward to seeing you all next week!
-=== Proposed Schedule ===-
Erik Harper
Styling React: The 80/20 Rule - Struggling with deciding the best way(s) to style your React application? In this talk, I’ll give a background on my experience styling React, including both pure SCSS/CSS and pure Inline Style approaches and how I landed on the 80/20 rule (80% CSS / 20% Inline). I’ll talk about the benefits and the downsides to styling React applications with both CSS and Inline Styles and look at the “best fit” use cases for both
Asa Miller
The Native side of React Native - Asa will discuss how RN fits with either an existing native app, and when you want to do something RN doesn't do out of the box. What the process for adding native code and functionality is. The focus will be on iOS, but the principles would be the same on Android.
There will also be time for lightning talks, so come prepared for that too!
-=== Event Details ===-
