Portland Social Active Adults
Join those of us retired from the 'work a day world' with a little too much time on our hands to enjoy fun events around the metro area. Most of the events will late morning to early to mid-afternoon.

FAQ's

What is the age range for Portland Social Active Adult events?

This group's 380+ members were primarily people who joined Polly's group: "Portland Senior Social Meetup Group." My assumption is most members of Portland Social Active Adults are people who identify as "Seniors."

What type of events will Portland Social Active Adults invite members to attend?

Join us for a monthly meet and greet lunch/dinner, urban friendly walks under two miles, and holiday gatherings.

Where will most events be held?

For ease of commuting, Portland Social Active Adults events will be held in and around downtown Portland and/or the east side of the river in the Portland Metro area.

When will most events be held?

Most events will be held during daylight hours i.e., mid-morning to early to mid-afternoon; a bit later during Summer...

How do I become an organizer/host for Portland Social Active Adults?

At this time, consider attending a PSAA group event to bring event ideas forward.

Will there be any Bowling events? 2/5/26

We may post another bowling event in the future. We only had one confirmed attendee at the posting which was canceled due to low interest.

I understand that my execution of this Waiver, release and Indemnity Agreement ("Agreement") is a prerequisite for attending group activities sponsored by the Portland Social Active Adults*:* I further understand that there could be risks and dangers inherent in attending these activities.

I understand that in order to partake in Portland Social Active Adults*activities I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless this Portland Social Active Adults*and its leaders, organizers, hosts and volunteers.
I intend by this Agreement to release, in advance, and to waive my rights and discharge all of the persons mentioned above, from any and all claims for death, personal injury, or property damage which I may have, or may hereafter accrue to me as a results of my participation in Portland Social Active Adults*events, even though this liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective property, or equipment owned, maintained or controlled by them or because of their possible liability without fault.
I intend and agree to financially indemnify and hold harmless the persons mentioned above from any actions brought against them by other parties on account of damages or injuries related to or caused by my participation in any of the Portland Social Active Adults events. I understand and agree that this Agreement is binding on me and any of my representatives.
I have carefully read this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement and fully understand its contents.ย I am aware that this is a Release of Liability and a contract between me, and the persons mentioned above, and I agree to these terms of my own free will.
When you RSVP for an event it indicates that you agree to these terms.
