Iconic PDX Selfie Run!

For those NOT doing Hood to Coast 2026 - please join us for a fun, frolicking tour of Washington Park, the Arboretum, and Forest Park. We will visit 4 or 5 iconic selfie locations. Want to be an instagram star? This is your moment! Want to just run and not have anything to do with social media? We see you and validate you.

Park and Meet at:
SW Fairview near Southwest Knights Boulevard, near Arboretum. (Free street parking fills up fast, there is paid parking down the hill near Vietnam Veteran's memorial via Parking Kitty)

Start Time: Meet at 8:30am, we will start running at 8:37am on the dot!

The Route:

• Fir Trail to Redwood Trail
• Visit Redwood Deck for Selfies
• Wildwood up to Pittock for Selfies/Water/Restrooms
• Wildwood to Witch's Castle for Selfies
• Lower Macleay Trial to iconic Rainbow Stairs
• Down Thurman to NW 25th to Westover to 24th Place
• Washington Park and Rose Garden (Selfies/Water/Restrooms)
• Mac Trail up to Wildwood back to Start

A slightly shorter option: turn around at Witch's Castle and return the way you came for a perfect 10K

Mixed Terrain: 75% dirt, 25% road

Pace: LSD (long slow distance) pace with stops for pics, water, restrooms. We will keep together as a group and leave nobody behind.

Afterwards: one last group pic and high-fives! Post-run recovery drinks and snacks provided, bring a snack to share if you wish!
