This group is for everyone who has left, has doubts about or is considering leaving the group known as Jehovah's Witnesses. We want you to know that you are not alone, there are many with thoughts and feelings just like you.
If you are fading and are concerned about having your identity revealed be joining, please sign up. Use a fake name. Email addresses are only for registration purposes and for meetup.com to send you optional automated notifications. Some still have family who are current jw members so we understand and respect the need to be anonymous.
This group is here to support you through the exiting process and after. We will do our best to help you deal with being shunned by friends and family, as well as the other impacts leaving has had on your life. There are so many opportunities and adventures that lie ahead for all of us in this new chapter of life. Join us to socialize and network as part of your recovery process.
Note: Discrimination of any sort is not tolerated in the group. This is also not the place to convert ex-Witnesses to other religions or promote business interest. At our meetups, we may discuss our differences but we never belittle other member's thoughts. We strive to be all inclusive regardless of beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc.
