A relaxed walk along the Coweeman River Trail starting from Tam O'Shanter Park. We are likely to see a variety of local wildlife, especially birds. While we walk, we'll discuss the importance of urban green spaces to health, equity, and climate resilience.

If you're interested, please bring your phone to take photos and learn about great apps for identifying wildlife, tracking your walk, and more apps for the outdoors.

Our route will be 2 miles out and back heading north on the trail, followed by 2-3 miles out and back heading south. There is a natural opportunity for those looking for a shorter walk to end after the first out and back section.

A $2 cash donation is recommended and will be used to support the Loo-Wit Sierra Club group
