🌊 Foam Homies – First Meetup of 2026

All levels welcome to our first meetup of the year. This is a laid-back, no-pressure group focused on getting in the water, improving, and meeting good people.

When: May 16th
Where: Short Sand Beach
Time: 0930

Exact time may shift based on conditions—we’ll lock it in a day or two before. Join the Discord to stay up to date on final details (we coordinate everything there).

What to expect?

We’ll meet up, do quick introductions, paddle out together, and naturally split into groups depending on experience level.

Afterward, we can hang on the beach, play games, and possibly have a bonfire if people are down.

I’ll be there early to help organize and get everyone situated.

Who should come?

• First-time surfers
• People getting back into it
• Anyone looking for a consistent surf crew

What to bring?

• Surf gear (board, wetsuit, booties)
• Backpack
• Towel
• Lunch (maybe early dinner)
• Snacks + water
• Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
• Change of clothes
• Something to sit on (optional)

Renting gear?

Cleanline Surf Shop starts rentals at 0900—I recommend getting there right when they open.

Beach parking fills up fast, so plan to arrive early.
