Join us for a conversation with Project Home, a Maine-based nonprofit tackling one of our region’s most urgent challenges: housing instability.

Across Maine, more than half of renters are one unexpected expense away from losing their homes. Project Home is changing that—by working directly with landlords and families to expand access to housing and ensure it lasts. Their integrated model combines housing access, financial support, and health services to help people not just find housing, but stay housed and move toward long-term stability.

The results are striking: 99% of households remain housed, and most achieve financial independence within two years—all with an average investment of about $2,000 per household.

This session will offer a practical look at how housing access, investing, and community impact intersect—and how a smarter, prevention-focused approach can create real, measurable change.

Whether you’re interested in real estate, community investing, or just want to better understand what’s happening in our local housing market, this is a conversation worth being in the room for.
