Let's meet at Frog Lake DAY USE AREA around 5pm and kayak from 5-8pm. We can picnic during and after this time. Bring your own kayak, picnic and gear. The day use area requires a forest pass or day use fee of $10. I think the day use area closes at 9pm so from there we can go out to the main Frog Lake parking lot and enjoy the star filled sky and maybe see a shooting star. The Milky Way is supposed to be visible on this night. If you would just like to join just to picnic that is fine too. I would like to call this an alcohol free event due to the drive home in the dark. More details to be provided. The Mt Hood views from Frog Lake are amazing.
