New Beginnings: The comeback of Porto International Book Club

Dear fellow bookies,

As the most assiduous among you know, we had to migrate the Book Club Meetup group to a new account—meaning we are, for the most part, starting from scratch. So, spread the word about the new group and join us for our next event.

We chose an aptly named theme for this time: New Beginnings.

Oftentimes, novels revolve around a fresh start—usually an attempt at one, or even a false one—for the characters. For instance, The Talented Mr. Ripley comes to mind as a good example, but I’m sure you can find many others, perhaps even better ones. So, bring us books that explore this theme and its motives and consequences, and join us for our—not so fresh—start.
