What we’re about
LOOK.Sharp is a cafe tucked away in the side streets of the historic centre of between São Bento Station, Sé Cathedral and Batalha. Gay owned with an international and open clientele, the majority of our events are open and mixed. However, we believe it's important to have items scheduled into the calendar that cater to specific community needs as a reflection of our diversity.
Look out for our Monthly Queer events that include Professional Networking Nights, Queer Cinema Sessions, Queer Bingo, Queer Speed Friending, Gay Retirees and their admirers, Social Debate Sessions, Ladies nights and more.

We are a cosy space that can host 20-50 people inside and more in the summer months to the quiet street setting. Food and Drink is available alongside other seasonal specialities.

This edition is all about building connections within the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, going a little deeper than your usual first introductions. Think meaningful chats, warm vibes, and a whole lot of fabulous energy.
This week we're featuring our GROUP FORMAT, designed so that every person gets to meet every other attendee through fun, facilitated rounds. This isn’t speed dating – though we can’t predict what kind of sparks might fly 😉***

Rather than dividing groups by gender or orientation, everyone will have a chance to interact with everyone in the room. You’ll receive unique question prompts to keep the conversations interesting, authentic, and reflective of the diverse experiences in the queer community.
At the end, we’ll offer a chance to exchange contacts – only if you want to. No pressure, no awkwardness, just space for potential friendships to grow.***

🌈 QUEER TRIVIA NIGHT @ LOOK.Sharp Café
An evening of community, conversation, and a little friendly competition.
Start your week with a social brain stretch — and this time, we’re queering things up. Join us for a special edition of trivia night focused on LGBTQ+ history, culture, rights movements, and of course, a few iconic tunes along the way.
Hosted by the always unpredictable Darren, our quizmaster with just enough flair and confusion to keep things interesting. Your general and not-so-general knowledge will be put to the test — with rounds covering everything from queer milestones and global rights progress, to music, film, and pop culture that shaped (and was shaped by) the LGBTQ+ community.
Teams of 3–4 are randomly assigned at the start, so everyone has the chance to meet new people — just how we like it at LOOK.Sharp. It keeps things friendly and fresh, and ensures no trivia super-teams take over the night.
