Art Gallery Hop and Tile Glaze: A Saturday Afternoon in Porto's Art Scene

Join us for an unforgettable Saturday afternoon exploring Porto's vibrant art scene! Our tour will start with a gallery hopping tour, taking you through some of the city's most exciting art spaces. We'll visit a cluster of artist studios in an old shopping mall in Cedofeita Street, Porto's main art gallery spot - Miguel Bombarda Street, and a contemporary art lover's gem - Galeria Municipal, located in the Palacio de Cristal Gardens. Our tour will be guided by a professional artist and curator who will share their knowledge and insights into the local art scene. The walking tour will take 1.5 hours and we'll visit a total of 4 galleries.

But that's not all! After the tour, we'll head to the tranquil Palacio de Cristal Gardens where we'll each get to glaze a tile under the shade of the trees. This unique workshop will be led by our professional artist guide and will give you the chance to get hands-on and creative, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of one of Porto's most picturesque spots. The workshop will take 1 hour and all materials will be provided, including one tile per participant and 3 colors of glaze. After firing, tiles will be available for pick up after 10 business days, or sent by mail for an additional price.
