Portuguese Conversation Night (Intermediate+)

Join us for our first Portuguese conversation meetup in Lagos!

This is a relaxed evening at a local bar to practise speaking Portuguese in real conversations — not textbook exercises.

The goal is simple: talk more, hesitate less, and get comfortable expressing yourself in Portuguese.

This is a peer-led conversation group, not a class. I’m also learning Portuguese and created this group because I wanted more chances to speak outside lessons. I’ll help guide topics, but everyone participates. 🥰

This meetup is best for B1 level and above (intermediate to advanced). You don’t need to be 100% fluent, but you should be able to more or less hold a conversation.

• Small group conversations
• Topic prompts if things get quiet
• A friendly, supportive atmosphere
• Some gentle correction if people want it (and anyone knows the answer 😄)

We’ll try to stay in Portuguese as much as possible — even if it’s not perfect.

### 🍷 Location & vibe

We’re meeting at a bar, so grab a drink (alcoholic or not), relax, and chat. You can arrive a bit late if needed — no problem.
Look for a table of people speaking Portuguese (or trying to 😄).
