About us

TechBrunch is an in-person meetup group for people who enjoy talking about technology over brunch. Our events are small gatherings where attendees discuss technical topics, share projects, exchange ideas, and meet others with similar interests.
Topics vary by event and may include software development, functional programming, machine learning, NLP, developer tools, open source, startups, productivity systems, data science, and related areas. Depending on the event, we may have informal discussion, show-and-tell, lightning talks, live demos, or hands-on conversation about tools, workflows, and real-world technical problems.
This group is for software engineers, developers, founders, data scientists, researchers, IT professionals, students, hobbyists, and anyone with a genuine interest in technology. You do not need to be an expert to join. Curious beginners are welcome as long as they are interested in thoughtful conversation.
There are no membership dues for joining the group. Attendees are generally expected to pay for their own food and drinks unless a specific event description says otherwise. If an event includes a special offer, that will be stated clearly in the event listing.
TechBrunch is an independently organized community meetup. It is not officially affiliated with the event venue unless a specific event explicitly says so.
Most events are small by design so people can have real conversations. Please RSVP if you plan to attend, since venue arrangements may depend on the number of confirmed attendees.
