Engineering Multigres: Under the Hood of Supabase’s New Postgres Proxy

Sugu will be at Postgres Meetup for All this month to do go under the hood of Multigres. This project is related to the Vitess for MySQL and adds features for Postgres cluster management- like sharding, connection and query routing, and failover.

Sugu built Vitess for YouTube so he’s familiar with scaling out data in a big way. This meetup is a chance to understand how the Mulitgres team is approaching the engineering aspects of adding these things to Postgres.
