Postgres 19, 20, and Beyond

Join us for a tour of Postgres features coming in Postgres 19, 20, and even beyond. Franck Pachot from Microsoft will lead the discussion.

Get a guided tour of new PostgreSQL features, extensions, and developer tools built in collaboration by Microsoft engineers and contributors.
In this session, you’ll see live demonstrations and technical walk-throughs. We will explore recently committed features in PostgreSQL 19, including optimizations at all levels: the query planner, executor, and storage layer. We will also cover active proposals for the PostgreSQL 20 development cycle, including those that started in the PG19 beta, such as SQL/PGQ property graph.
