Peanut Moms of Dutchess County
When I moved to Dutchess County, I started looking for a mom group where I could meet people nearby. I missed the kind of regular get togethers that make it easier to turn “we should hang out sometime” into real friendships, so I decided to start one.
This group is for pregnant mamas and moms at every stage—single mamas, moms in those first tender months postpartum, and moms with little ones. You don’t have to have it all figured out to join; sometimes it’s just nice to be around people who understand.
My hope is to bring moms together for weekly walks, coffee, playdates, picnics, and book club meetups, mom’s night out. Little ones are welcome, too.
I’d love for members to help shape the group. Have an idea for a meetup? Suggest one or host it yourself! We can share local recommendations, make plans, and build the kind of community we’ve been looking for—together.
