Come out to play straight up folk in a circle of like minded folks. No amps, no guests, just people taking their turn in the circle. Geared towards traditionalists and those wanting to learn more, this format provides an inclusive and welcoming environment to share, sing and listen to favorite folk songs. All levels welcome and encouraged. We're outside, please bring a chair.
Bertrand's Ukulele Experience is a fun, family-friendly musical event held on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. The beginning level class is from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. and ukuleles are provided by Bertrand's! All you have to do is show up and be ready to have fun and play; You do not require an instrument to attend this event!
The intermediate level jam is held from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. and host Robert Totty leads the group through a variety of fun songs with chord charts and lyrics projected on a screen to help make jamming easier. Singing along is encouraged!
Chosen participants can also take part in our 'five minutes of fame' segment in which they get up and perform a song in front of the group! See host Robert Totty for details!
