Career & Community Support Day

While the last month has been tough on the DC area, we’re stronger when we support each other. Join us on Saturday, March 1st for our first Community and Career Support Day. We’ll start with brunch (mimosas anyone?) before moving into series of semi-structured activities where attendees can get feedback on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, career planning, professional wardrobe, and interview prep. Feel free to advantage of all the resources available, or camp out for the afternoon to finally tackle those resume updates. Either way, we’re here to support you (and each other).

Audience: This event is for anyone who has recently experienced a layoff or reduction in force (or is anticipating one), not just Power BI DC members. That said—our network is predominantly data nerds, so…please bear this in mind.

Attendees should:
· Bring printed resumes for feedback and peer review/edits
· Bring your laptop to work on (portfolio, resume, LinkedIn etc.)
· Wear your preferred interview outfit (and/or bring photos) for feedback if desired
· (if you’d like) – bring cookies or a dessert of your choice
