This 60-minute webinar examines how to embed Power BI reports and dashboards when developing with the SharePoint Framework.
Attendees will learn the fundamental concepts and programming skills required to embed Power BI reports and dashboards in a custom web application.
Attendees will also learn how to use the SharePoint admin site collection to grant tenant-level permissions which make it possible for SPFX web parts to call Azure AD-secured APIs such as the Power BI Service API.
The webinar then demonstrates how to program using the AadHttpClient object recently introduced into the SharePoint Framework which makes it possible to call the Power BI Service API.
After that, attendees will learn how to use the Power BI Service API together with Power BI JavaScript API to implement Power BI embedding in an SPFX web part.
Along the way, the webinar will demonstrate embedding many different types of Power BI object in SPFX web parts including reports, dashboards, tiles and the Q&A experience.
