Out business technology webinar series is intended to be educational, informative, and fun. We're a part of the local tech community and love all things Philly.
We're planning on a live webinar demo event every four-or-five weeks, featuring technology associated with either the Microsoft 365 Business Premium subscription or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM). We also plan to host study groups for populate Microsoft certification exams on a weekly basis, on Thursday evenings.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium is what Microsoft terms the "hero SKU" for SMB's to get both productivity software and security features in a single subscription that is cost-effective and easy to manage. We dive into the various aspects of the capabilities and configuration of M365BP, emphasizing the security aspects of the product for the most part.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is our other focus. D365 presentations will revolve around all things related to sales, marketing, and customer service for your business. The Dynamics 365 CRM system has been around since 2004 and is officially now an 800lb gorilla. But that doesn't mean it has to be difficult to implement. You can get your SMB up-and-running on D365 Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service in a matter of weeks, for a reasonable price. We aim to provide insightful guideance and context on what's new with Dynamics 365 CRM during our showcase live webinar demo events. Note that you will often hear Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform referred to in the same breath. The Microsoft Power Platform is essentially an extension of the platform that was developed for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) to give you the power of the platform -- without the CRM licensing aspect.
Lastly, as mentioned, we're now going to be hosting free one-hour study sessions every Thursday for popular Microsoft Certification Exams. We're going to start with Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) in March, 2021. We'll then go with Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) in April, 2021. And then Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) in May, 2021. These will truly be group study sessions with open mic's and collaborative discussion of the various topics and sample exam questions.
