What is more fun than Fabric Real-Time-Analytics?
To analyze live streams of players emotions with Real-Time-Analytics!
Therefore we have created a "Fun-o-Meter" for people who are playing.
We will show a real project from marketing where we do the following steps:
- gathering pictures of people playing a game (local Python library)
- using sentiment analysis (local Python library)
- creating a custom endpoint in Fabric Real-Time-Analytics
- push the sentiment data from local to a Fabric eventstream
- creating Kusto Queries and the Dashboard to show the fun-o-meter live during a gaming session
The original "business case" is to use this setup at a booth at events because our experience was that gaming itself is cool but not enough to get more people involved.
The dashboard gets the attention of people and "having more fun" is an easy challenge we all can understand without any additional setup - we already used this at the data:unplugged festival and Data Saturday in Germany.
On the other side, this use-case works well to show how easy Real-Time-Analytics - a workload that is still new to many users - can be and motivates the people to play around with Fabric.
