Visualising guidelines and exceedances in Power BI

Session summary:
We often assess environmental data against one (or more) guidelines but it can be notoriously challenging to model, calculate and visualise inside of Power BI. Alice will explore some real-world tips and tricks for working with guidelines and exceedances in Power BI, and Daniel will showcase a custom Deneb visual he created to highlight water quality exceedances over time, and share his lessons learnt for improving report efficiency!!

Alice Drummond (Senior Analyst | Microsoft Data Platform MVP) and Daniel Marsh-Patrick (Principal Analyst | Microsoft Data Platform MVP) both work at DiscoverEI, who specialise in creating environmental Power BI reports! Both Daniel and Alice have considerable project experience in creating visuals for displaying guideline thresholds compared to soil, water and air quality results.
