Poz Men's Social Meetup

This group is for HIV+ men (male-identified). We embrace both long term survivors and the newly diagnosed. Our goal is to create a safe space for poz guys to make friends, be social, join in activities, share knowledge about HIV resources, and be a support network.

Criteria to join:

• Individuals who identify as male (cisgender and transgender men)
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must have tested positive for HIV. Write the year you tested positive.
• Photo in profile (headshot/face preferred, but any photo is okay)
• Friendly, respectful, able to maintain confidentiality
• Must be living in NYC metro at time of joining

CONFIDENTIALITY. Since our discussions at our events may include members' status and personal information, we expect each member to maintain 100% confidentiality. This is a private group. Members must never inadvertently disclose the HIV status of other members.

This is a nonjudgmental space. All opinions, experiences and sexual orientations must be respected.

This group is a social support group not an intensive counseling group. If you need professional counseling, we’ll try to suggest places that might help.
