Urban Model Shoot - Downtown Columbia - Learn On-location Lighting

Details
Come join us for this fun 2 hour photography event in downtown Columbia, SC
I will have several models arranged for this shoot, so there will be plenty of opportunity to practice, create, and shoot on your own, or in small groups.
I will be teaching on location lighting (after sunset). We will be working with a studio strobe or two, and off camera flash units. You are welcome to photograph in any style you like, but I will be demonstrating how to work with strobes in manual mode only.
*Included in the price of this event is the use of my studio strobes, flashes, and triggers so that everyone can capture images. All levels of photographers are welcome.
ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR CAMERA!
This event is good for the beginner to the advanced photographer. If you are very new and wish for some instruction, I will be teaching with one model at a time. For the more advanced members who join us, you may photograph and capture images of the other models as you like.
You will learn:
how to use any location for a session and how to light your subject for more impactful creative shots
which textures work well for backgrounds and how to properly light them
how to find great ambient light and incorporate it in your images
and some basic camera and photography skills, like metering, focus, and white balance

*Please note: You are REQUIRED to upload your images to this website within 2 weeks of an event. The models are allowed to ask you for 2 full resolution images for them to print from and the rest you may share digitally if like, and leave your watermark on. This is the exchange for the models time and for the model release that allows you to use them within your websites and portfolios. However, the release is not signed for you to sell them to 3rd party sites. If you sell to stock photography sites, you will need to bring your own release and ask the model before shooting if he/ she is willing to allow you to do so.
I am really excited about this event. This area has some great locations to shoot in.
I'll look forward to seeing you there....
Lori Jill
