Special Event: An AFTER Halloween Weenie Roast and Costume Party
Details
Don't put those Halloween costumes away just yet; there is one more party to attend.
What: Get Out Today RVA 7th Annual, After Halloween, Halloweenie Roast, and Costume Party. P.O.W.E.R. Pickleball members are invited too. Dress up and socialize while roasting your weenie over one of our fire pits.
When: Saturday, November 8th. The party starts at 6:30 pm and goes on until the last person leaves. For several years, it has been as late as 1 am.
Cost: $5.00 per person. Half the money collected will go towards the costume contest. Please ignore the red "unpaid" by your name. We will have the gotRVA donation can out on the table. Put your money there when you arrive.
Where: In the West End between Ruby Carver Elementary School and Stewart School. The address is 1510 Timbercrest Ct. 23238.
Details: Sarah has graciously opened her home and backyard to invite us to come over and have a good Halloweenie time. Sarah has a NEW large deck and a large patio, with two firepits, so that we can have a fun night to get all dressed up and socialize.
What's Provided: We will provide the location, including the patio and fire pit, as well as hot dogs, hot dog buns, and all the necessary condiments. Additionally, we will supply roasting sticks, paper products, plastic utensils, a cooler, and ice.
What To Bring: You bring $5, a side dish, yourself dressed in costume, and a good-time attitude. Adult Halloween liquid spirits are welcome, and because of this, it is a 21-year-old or above event.
Costume Contest: Around 9pm, we will gather on the deck and have our costume contest. Each person will have a chance to "Walk the Runway" (Soul Train Style) to show off their costume. Then you will vote on a piece of paper your 1st and 2nd favorite costumes. Sarah and Morgan will tally the count and come back with a decision.
