I recently had two people request a beginner's class for this Sunday (March 29) morning. I'm putting this on my PPIC site to see if one more person would like to join. This beginner's class will be a one-day session lasting between 2 to 3 hours, offered at a special price. Details are below.

Welcome to P.O.W.E.R. Pickleball Instructional Class (PPIC).

This class is designed for beginners and advanced beginners.

WHAT IS PICKLEBALL: Pickleball is a fun, low-impact, low-key game that combines tennis, ping-pong, and badminton into one sport. One of the great things about pickleball is that it has a short learning curve. However, like most sports, it has many rules. So I've developed this class to help you learn the basics and enjoy the fun game of pickleball.

AVAILABILITY: This Pickleball Class is available to the FIRST FOUR PPIC members who have prepaid. The class is full when you see 5 RSVPs. (4 students and myself) If you would like your spouse, significant other, and/or friend to attend the class, then please have them join PPIC and RSVP to this class on their own.

WHEN: This class will take place on Sunday, March 29th, starting promptly at 8 AM.

WHERE: Pouncy Tract Park on the Tiger Courts. AKA the Upper Courts. These are the four courts located behind the bathrooms.

WHAT TO BRING: Water, a hat, and sunscreen are advised. If you have already purchased a pickleball paddle, bring it. If you have not, paddles and balls are provided for this class. Near the beginning of class, we will go over the dos and don'ts of buying a paddle.

IMPORTANT EQUIPMENT INFO: For your own safety, I STRONGLY recommend that you wear court shoes while attending this class. Court, Tennis, or Pickleball shoes are designed to give you stability and keep you safe while playing. Running Shoes do not give you stability and can lead to injuries while playing Pickleball.

ITINERARY: This class is packed with lots of useful information and NEEDS to start on time. Please do NOT be late. The first hour is all classroom. We go over experience, equipment, and safety. The second hour is learning the court and how to keep score. The third hour is how to LEGALLY serve, positions, and then a game at the end to put everything you just learned together.

COST: This beginner's class is only $50 per person and must be paid in advance.

VERY IMPORTANT: Once you've RSVPed for this class, you will need to submit your payment.

HOW TO PAY: Feel free to pay me, Morgan Quinn, by Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle.

My CashApp account is: $PowerPickleball

My Venmo account is: @PowerPickleball - Verification code 5768

My Zelle account is my email: PowerPickleball@hotmail.com

CANCELLATIONS: If I have to cancel the class due to weather or any medical issue, you will be fully refunded.

HOMEWORK: What's a class without homework? Before you attend the class, it is helpful to watch these two short videos to explain the basics of playing Pickleball and how to keep score.
